Sun/weather protection (hat, sunglasses, sleeves, sunblock etc)
Water, water and more water! Feel free to bring an energy bar or two as well.
Trekking poles may be useful to some on this hike.
 
Description

• We will hike approximately 3 miles in (to the lower dam), and 3 miles out. Pima Canyon is a popular hike in Tucson. The canyon itself is a riparian area with a seasonal stream, lots of trees and small animals.
• Length: 6 miles (total out and back)
• Elevation change: approx. 1,100ft.
• Duration (including travel): 4-5 hours
