Hike Picaccho Peak for 2026-02-21
- Meet: Meet at the Health and fitness Facility at 8:30am to carpool to the trailhead.
- Description: Picacho Peak via Hunter Trail is a challenging hike. The distance is short, and the elevation change is steep. There are sections that require holding onto metal cables that have been bolted into the rock to assist as you hike up the rocks. The reward at the top is fantastic with 365 degree views of the desert ranging from Tucson to Casa Grande and from the Catalina Mountains to the (Arizona) Sawtooth Mountains.
