Hike Information

  • Description: Alamo springs trail begins at the Wild burro Trailhed in Marana near the Ritz-Carleton. The trail itself winds up to the southern ridge of the Wild Burro Wash in a series of switchbacks. Once the ridge is reached, the trail winds along with a slight increase in elevation. The vegetation in the spring is spectacular…especially the ocotillos! The trail meets back up with the Wild burro Wash and the return trip is down the wash. Along the return trip, old ranch outbuildings are present giving hikers a glimpse into the area's history.
