The Stone Canyon Club features one of the most comprehensive practice facilities you’ll find at a private golf course. Ranked among Golf Digest’s Top 100 Best Practice Facilities, it boasts an impressive twelve acres of turf dedicated to game improvement. The main practice field includes two large tee surfaces on the north end and a southern tee surface which can be utilized for lessons or members wishing for a more private ball-hitting session. At this southern end of the practice field also sits a flat putting green which is ideal for building a repetitive putting motion. Near the clubhouse on the north end of the practice area lies a large putting green with significant undulations and a chipping complex complete with varied grass slopes and bunkers to perfect all manner of short-game shots. An additional private short-game practice facility exists to the west of the clubhouse area, tucked away in a secluded cove of rocks, again with a bunker and undulating terrain for uphill, downhill and sidehill chips. Capping off this impressive practice complex is the 19th hole which is a par 3 hole between 100 – 110 yards that may be utilized for wedge practice to hone your skills of firing at the flag.
